Pricing
A free audit, then one fixed price.
No percentage of your spend and no percentage of the savings. No hourly billing. The audit is free and read-only, the fee is quoted from what it finds, and the plan runs month to month.
A free 30-minute demo with an engineer. No commitment.
Cost audit and managed cost operations
Start free. Pay a fixed fee only when the audit earns it.
The audit runs on read-only access for 7 days and the report is yours either way. The managed cost plan applies what it found, continuously, with an engineer approving each change.
Cost audit
- Every Datadog product and AWS service line, ranked by savings
- What each change risks and how it would be rolled back
- Datadog renewal and commitment timing
- The report is yours to keep
Managed cost operations
- Finly and Iris apply changes continuously
- A senior engineer approves every change
- Monthly reconciliation against your invoices
- Datadog renewal planning and vendor calls
- Month to month. Cancel any time.
Managed AWS and DevOps
- Everything in managed cost operations
- 24/7 on-call with an uptime SLA
- CI/CD with security gates, disaster recovery
- SOC 2 readiness in six weeks
Our rule: we only propose a managed plan when the audit finds annual savings of at least 3 times the fee. If it doesn't, you keep the report and pay nothing.

What you pay for
What the fee covers, and what it never includes.
Covered by every plan
- All four agents running under policy in your accounts
- A senior engineer approving every change before it ships
- Monthly reconciliation of savings against your invoices
- On-call under an uptime SLA on the managed AWS and DevOps tiers
- Compliance evidence exported continuously, ready for your auditor
Never on the invoice
- A percentage of your cloud spend
- A percentage of the savings
- Hourly billing
- Change orders for routine work
- An annual lock-in
- Licence fees for tooling you already own
How the fee is scoped
Four things set the number.
We size the fee on the work it takes to run your environment well, not on what you spend with your cloud provider. These are the inputs, and you see all of them before you decide.
Accounts and environments
How many AWS accounts and environments we operate, and whether production is one region or several.
Clusters and workloads
Kubernetes clusters, node groups and the services running on them, since they set the on-call and upgrade load.
Compliance you need
SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS or HIPAA controls to enforce on every deploy, and the evidence your auditor expects.
Observability footprint
Datadog and cloud monitoring usage under management: hosts, custom metrics, log volume and the renewals to plan around.
Questions
About the price.
Is the audit really free?
Yes. It runs on read-only access, takes about seven days, and the report is yours whether or not you go further. We only propose the managed plan when the audit finds annual savings of at least three times the fee. If it does not, you keep the report and pay nothing.
How is the managed plan priced?
A fixed monthly fee, quoted at the end of the audit and scoped by your cloud footprint and the work involved. No percentage of your spend, no percentage of savings, and no annual contract. It runs month to month.
How do you measure savings?
We baseline your last three invoices and normalize for usage growth, so a bill that grew slower than your traffic still counts. Each month you see the same reconciliation we do, against your own invoices.
What's the SLA?
A 99.9% uptime commitment on the environments we run, with incident response around the clock. Response and resolution targets by severity are written into the agreement before we start.
How is it priced?
One fixed monthly fee, scoped to your footprint after the free review: accounts, environments, clusters and the compliance you need. No hourly billing, no change orders for routine work, and it runs month to month.
What happens if we want to leave?
The plan runs month to month. Your infrastructure is in your account and your Terraform is in your repositories, so leaving is a matter of removing our role and taking the pager back.
